The mission of our club is to help the school maintain and repair damaged Chromebooks in the school, and give other creative computing opportunities to students. This is achieved by group of passionate, hardworking students who love technology.
We call ourselves MC².
The main goal of the MC² club is to take care of all the Chromebooks in the school by:
- Stocktaking
- counting how many computers are in each classroom and trolleys.
- keeping track of where they are located in the school and their condition in a stocktaking spreadsheet.
- Improving the users experience – By:
- improving the usability
- reducing repair costs
- shorter repair time
- fast turnarounds by fixing computers at school and not sending them out for repair
- Ensuring computers get back to students in working order
- Sustainability
- reducing e-waste by repairing computers and not discarding them.
- preventing further damage by undertaking minor repairs.
